The Sierra Vista Mayor and City Council directed the City Manager to form an internal team of senior staff to focus on water mitigation and report the City’s efforts in its water conservation efforts. The mission of the team is to make sure the City focuses efforts on water mitigation through prioritizing water issues in the Sierra Vista Sub-watershed and that those City efforts are measurable, add value to the local community, and consistent with Fort Huachuca’s Biological Opinion.
