Never heard that legend connected with the San Pedro. I like to study the local history/lore and that’s one I definitely want to know about so I’ll have to research that one. The Hassayampa River is one you shouldn’t drink from or you’ll become a perpetual liar. And the legend was started by early prospectors, I believe.
